What the Fuck?!
I'll say it again...What the Fuck?! How is it possible that I simply can not have ANY content on this site that that (I'm stuttering I'm so mad) any 2nd grader should not be reading? Am I that boring & innocent? Do I not swear enough? Did I leave out all that stuff about my friend with the heart shaped nipples who likes me to tickle them in public places? Did I leave out the part about the hot sex involving honey & what I like to call the California position?
Fuck, the rest of it I'm too shy to say...but trust me...THERE'S MORE.

Walking
Just fooling around with video (for the 2nd time here).
Walking East on 42nd St.
Was a nice day for a walk.
I was headed towards Grand Central Station.
(Next time I'll video something a little bit more exciting, promise.)

I was obsessed with this woman for the 10 minutes I was in the locker room with her (& for the 10 minutes it took to write this). Why? Because she wouldn't acknowledge my presence in any way shape or form.
Don't you usually nod or smile or even (dare I say it?) say hello to those people who's name you may not know, but you see them all the time & know their faces?
I see this woman at least a couple times a week in the locker room. Usually, we are the only 2 women in there at the time. It's a small room & there's just no friggin way you could overlook someone...but yet she does. I've nodded & gotten an "I see through you" stare from her. I've said, "Hi" & gotten no response. Today, I heard a huge opportunity come my way as the sound of her sneeze hit my ears. "Bless you", I said. (I know she heard me, damn it). "Nothing", she said. She didn't even look my way.
Maybe she's deaf, you say? Well, wouldn't she sign me something?
She's about 5'6" tall with a boyish build (small breasts, no defined waist, no butt, very flat stomach). She takes an unseemingly long time blow drying her hair, she always uses a blue towel when drying off after her shower & she never, ever wears skirts.
If you see her, ask her why I've been obsessed with her for a total of 20 minutes today. I doubt she'll answer you either.

The Pleiades, (1885, oil on canvas) by Elihu Vedder.
According to Greek mythology, the Pleiades were the seven daughters of Atlas & the nymph Pleione. The swirling ribbons were meant to symbolize the pleasures of the vine (I just liked the colors & the swirly-ness).
What did I like here?
They were setting up the Victorian Christmas tree.
Do you see why I love places like this? What's not to appreciate?
& he was singing too.
I just thought she looked like you'd think an art museum patron would look like.

My Day
I got to the Metropolitan Museum of Art at about noonish. This place is massive. The building runs from 82nd up to 86th Street & you can not even see a quarter of what there is to see in one single day.
Spying down from above.
Francisco de Zurbarán painted The Crucifixion in 1627...I can't even comprehend how long ago that is & how remarkable it is we still have it to appreciate.
"Zurbarán gained the nickname Spanish Caravaggio, owing to the forcible, realistic use of chiaroscuro in which he excelled.
Chiaroscuro (Italian for clear-dark) is a term in art for a contrast between light and dark. The term is usually applied to bold contrasts affecting a whole composition, but is also more technically used by artists and art historians for the use of effects representing contrasts of light, not necessarily strong, to achieve a sense of volume in modelling three-dimensional objects such as the human body."
Too much information? Tough shit.
I spied this painting (oil on canvas) from across the room & I had to move closer.
I have to find out the name of this school...it's a posh private school across the street from the museum...beautiful, grand old building...Marymount maybe?...I'll find out.
Anyway...more photos to come. I took the subway down to Grand Central Station next, hit their market, then walked south, then west on 38th Street...like I said...more photo coming...it was a good day.

I am so thankful that I am not used to blinding pain.
This weekend was spend running away from a toothache that made me see stars.
The pain shot from my jaw to my right ear then wandered a bit until it settled behind my eyeballs.
It felt like I had 2 pain puddles behind my eye sockets.
2 nights of sleeping in a chair & one emergency dentist appointment later...I'm better.
Of course the vicodin or codeine...or whatever those pills that I just scarfed down are didn't hurt either.
Take them only if you need them, the doctor said...I NEED THEM...why aren't they working yet?

Covered
Johnny Rat was somehow reminded of a Band-Aid covered nipple in the image below of the bruised apple & he said so in comments (read whatever you want into that...I have)...so...without further ado...here's a very nice pair of fake ones with Band-Aids over her nipples...I have to think that would hurt a bit when they have to be taken off...but it beats a piercing (in my not into pain on purpose opinion). If I ever get inspired to post an HNT image again...I might consider posting mine...covered in Band-Aids...but we'll see how that goes.

So Far Today I...
...had to run back inside my house while trying to leave for work because I forgot my iPod (& there will be no cardio at the gym EVER without it). I left the car running, ran through the front door, tripped going up the stairs & sort of landed on my nose (it got pushed up like Porky Pig's snout & ouch...that hurts...& looks silly).
...while getting out of the car at work, I went to get my bag out of the passenger's side & smacked my hand hard between my car door & the side mirror of the car parked next to me. That smarts & it's affecting my mouse hand (& it seems to be swelling up rather nicely).
...oh yeah, & in between, I almost violently turned the car into oncoming traffic while trying to set the clock back by reaching through the steering wheel & pushing the clock button.
