What the?!

Pulled up to the gas pump with my gas tank facing the wrong way.
I forgot my car keys on the counter in the bank & walked all the way to my car without them.
I left an entire bag of groceries that I payed for in the store & drove home without them.
I drove the the exact opposite way of the destination I wanted to go.
I dialed a number & by the time it started ringing I'd forgotten who I was calling.

Today - A Saga

So, here's what happened.
Got up this morning...got dressed...all the normal stuff...
Blah, blah, blah...
Drive to the train...so far...so good...
Park in the parking garage.
Stick my arm (ok, my entire body) out of the car window
to get my parking receipt.
As the gate goes up & lets me in I discover I have no wallet.
Um...no $$$, no credit cards & no Metrocard for the train.
What?! I tell Alamar (the parking garage guy) my dilemma.
He smiles (& I see inside his head to the place he has reserved for retards & children) & raises the gate so I can leave & not pay for the 5 minutes of parking I accrued in his garage.
Crap, I call my boss & tell him the (boneheaded) deal.
He laughs with me...no...at me.
I have no id card to get into the 7 steps of hell (fancy security) if I even got as far as work anyway.
I have no identity (am I really here?).
Do I laugh or cry as I drive back home hoping I don't get stopped on the way without a license?!
Yeah, pretty much both at the same time.

Almost done with the week.
Done.
Do you care?
You don’t, do you?
I’m not going to let it bother me.
Really, I won’t.
I bought an “I love the earth shirt”
the day I spent with my favorite girlie.
That T will remind me of that day now.
Forever.
Very cool.
Do you care now?
It’s a struggle, I know.
Not to worry
I will not cry
No, really, I won’t.

TGIF

Ever been so in need of sleep that you don’t even realize how tired you re anymore?
See that? I left the ‘a’ out of ‘are’ above.
I seem to be too tired to go back & add it in.

I swore I'd only go in for a minute.
I'm not a fan of Black Friday shopping.
You have to be nuts to brave those crowds.
The one store I was in today wasn't so bad
(& they seemed to be almost giving stuff away).

Of course I was only there for minutes.

Happy Sunday (said the girl with great taste in baseball & no face).
Went for a killer walk today (man, was it cold)
I walked & I walked & I walked.
I wanted to walk some sense into me.
Enough said about that for now.

Went to my parents for dinner & look what my great dad did for me : )
Happy Sunday...oh...said that already didn't I?

(she looks ccold)
So...
For 2 days in a row
I went walking at lunch time.
& 2 days in a row
it was all about the boobies.
1st...in the vicinity of Canal Street
I spy a woman sunning herself in a park by the river
She's all bikini clad
(gotta love Indian Summer here.)
when...what do you know...she pops off her top
& yep...I see nipples
She's giving quite the thrill to the high school track club trotting by.
The next day I head south.
In Battery Park I see a woman breast feeding
while exposing the breast that wasn't part of the meal.
All these breasts & nipples out in the open
Got me thinking that I could use a message
Like this one.

Can I ask you a question?

When you're nervous about something...
does your body react in some small way?
I'm talking about those times when
you don't even recognize the fact that you're apprehensive or uneasy.
It's not a conscious thing.
The night before I went to meet the therapist...
I was washing up before bed.
I looked into the bathroom mirror
& saw red splotches all over the top of my chest.
WTF?!
HIVES!
I haven't had those in years.
I think my body was telling me it needed to release some tension.
Does that ever happen to you?

Window Shopping

What? I like windows. Shop windows mostly...sometimes stained glass church windows...sometimes those wavy old leaded glass windows in historic building catch the light in unexpected ways.

Have you ever stopped at a traffic light at night & peered into someone's window in their house & caught a glimpse of their lives in there? Mostly I just end up seeing people glaring at the television set...but sometimes you might catch a heated arguement going on & it's fun to guess who's winning.

This is what I truly love about HERE. Anything I want...I can just type it out. Whether it is something or just nothing at all...it's ok...gotta love that.
